Stores

In 1981 Claudia Skoda opened her first store in SoHo, New York, right opposite of Vivienne Westwood´s, whose punk fashion Skoda admired since her Berlin times. When the wall came down, Skoda returned to Berlin: "I felt committed to my hometown!" She opened her first German branch - designed by star architect and designer Marc Newson on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm.

In 2000, Skoda opened a second shop in Linienstrasse, Berlin (Mitte), finally settling in the Alte-Schönhauser-Strasse – where she established her permanent work and home quarters. Skoda´s new store, designed by Ward Marrill Hooper, is regarded as one of the most beautiful fashion stores in Berlin.
